The Ecusta Trail is the visionary transformation of a former rail line into a multi-use greenway spanning 19.4 miles between Hendersonville and Brevard, North Carolina.

The trail will be an invitation to people of all ages and abilities to experience the region’s natural splendor by walking, running, biking, and wheelchair. Bringing it all to life is a community of dedicated volunteers and passionate outdoor enthusiasts.

The Trail

The 19.4-mile Ecusta Trail will stretch between Hendersonville and Brevard, passing through Laurel Park, Etowah, Horseshoe, Penrose, and Pisgah Forest along the way.
